This is a large .44 caliber rimfire pepperbox pistol in the Sharps style, made by Unzueta Hijos of Santander, Spain. The listing says the caliber is probably .44 Webley rimfire. It has a 4-inch barrel, a 7-inch overall length and a hand-operated ejector rod in front of the barrel cluster. The firing pin rotates within the hammer, the action works perfectly, and the grips are excellent.
The gun is left in the white with its border engraving, and the listing dates it to about 1860. Its heavy frame and large bore set it apart from modern pocket pistols, so it suits a collector who values antique handguns. Handgun transfers here run through a Pennsylvania dealer, and the buyer must be 21 or older.
