The Walther Hammerli Force B1 is a .22 LR straight-pull rifle with a 16.1-inch threaded barrel and a 10+1 capacity. It has a tool-free quick-change barrel system and an adjustable synthetic stock that changes length of pull and comb height without tools. An integrated Picatinny rail supports optics, and the trigger group is compatible with Ruger 10/22-style trigger groups. The rifle comes with two magazines and a blue/black finish, and its manual safety is not ambidextrous.

Pennsylvania's deer and bear seasons require centerfire arms, so a .22 LR rimfire rifle is for range and training use in those months. The straight-pull action keeps follow-up shots quick, and the tool-free stock and barrel changes let a shooter change the setup as range needs change. The threaded muzzle takes compatible muzzle devices for shooters who want that option, and the optic rail keeps a scope or red dot within easy reach.
