The Walther Hammerli Force B1 in walnut is a manually operated straight-pull bolt-action rifle chambered in .22 LR. It has a 16.1-inch barrel, a 37.4-inch overall length and a weight of 5.95 pounds. The walnut stock gives the rifle a traditional look with comfortable handling. It takes a detachable 10-round magazine for 10+1 capacity, and one magazine is included. An integrated Picatinny rail prepares the rifle for a compatible optic, and the manual safety is not ambidextrous.

Pennsylvania's deer and bear seasons require centerfire arms, so this .22 LR rifle is a range and practice choice in those months. Its straight-pull action cycles quickly between shots, which suits target practice and recreational shooting. Buyers who want a classic walnut stock on an optic-ready rimfire will find the configuration a good fit for the range.
